All enthusiastic swimmers between the ages of 4 and 18 who enjoy the water are welcomed.
We have four levels that meet the needs for all aspiring swimmers.
Novice swimmer who can swim freestyle and backstroke. Ages range from 4 to 7 years of age. The main emphasis will be on developing competence in freestyle and backstroke. Breaststroke and butterfly are introduced.
Inexperienced swimmers who need stroke correction on the four strokes as well as work on starts and turns. Ages range from 6 to 10 years of age. Instruction is given in intervals of 25 M (one lap). The overall goal is to create swimmers who are knowledgeable on their strokes before training.
Younger experienced swimmer who can swim all the strokes. Stroke technique provided on all four strokes, starts, turns, and finishes. The concept of training sets is introduced to this group. Instruction interval given mostly in 25 and 50 meter intervals. At times, intervals can go to 100 meters or more. Ages range from 7 to 11 years of age.
An experienced swimmer who wishes to have a later start time (9AM). The camp group provides a good 60-minute stroke and conditioning instruction. Teaching and technique are provided along with dryland training. Age range from 10 to 18 years of age.
An experienced swimmer who has the ability and mental maturity to train at high speeds and handle challenging yardage. Selection for this group will require consistent effort, commitment, and require daily attendance. They would be involved in dryland training. Teaching and technique are still provided but a quicker pace. Age range from 10 to 18 years of age.
